Accessibility

Seating is available at every event. If the seating areas are already fully occupied, please ask for management/security and they’ll be happy to assist. The venue is wheelchair accessible with ground floor access from the street. To confirm your accessibility area/seating, please email us at [email protected] with your full name, documentation, event you’re attending and accessibility requirements.

Currently we are only open around events in Saltbox and things on at the Arena. So, you can pop in for a pre-arena show bite to eat or drink as well as attending events here most days over the week! Check our website listings for more info and know that if something is on at the arena, it’s safe to say we’ll be open too!

No! The restaurant closed pre-lockdown and since then Saltbox opened as a sports bar but now, we’re functioning proudly as an events venue. We still show sports from time to time on our screens around the venue, but we also host events most days in the week and serve food from Mollis chicken. It’s a good space and we can’t wait for Nottingham and beyond to hear more about it!

See our directions, map and travel planning support to get to the venue here.

You can either call us on 0115 959 0831 or drop us an email via our contact form with a description of the item and someone will get back to you if we have your item. Please be aware we only keep lost items for 28 days.

Yes, if an event is not sold out, some promoters will have tickets available on the door. We suggest buying tickets online in advance if possible.

See our gig listings page to browse through our events. Tickets are linked with each event. Ticketek is our main ticketing provider for the venue, but some events are listed elsewhere. The gig listings section on our site is the best place to find yours!

Not currently. We are currently only open around our gig calendar but if you need assistance from a member of staff, we'll be happy to help.

Please email us at [email protected] with your full name, documentation, event you’re attending and accessibility requirements. We'll help from there!

Be nice and don’t do anything inappropriate, basically. We reserve the right to refuse admission without a reason, so if you appear drunk or behave inappropriately in the queue, we might refuse you entry without a refund.

Most shows will have some form of flash lighting.

We have well-trained staff in place for all nights, who will be happy to help with any concerns. If there's anything you're worried about then please don't hesitate to come and talk to us and we'll do our best to assist you.

Our security teams will conduct bag searches on entry, please assist them by bringing only what is needed.

For the safety of all customers and staff we have CCTV in operation.

Please get in touch with us as soon as possible and we will try our best to resolve the situation. You can contact us via info@saltboxbar.co.uk, please give as much information as possible.

Yes, if you are behaved then you will get in!

Drop us an email to [email protected] and we will point you in the right direction.

We accept Driving License (including provisional licenses), Passports and Pass UK Approved ID

Most of our events are 14+, however if a gig is 18+ this will be stated on the website listing or the ticket.

See our event listings section on the website.

We don't have a particular dress code, but that said, there is a difference between going on a night out and going down to the local gym.

On gig nights we are open on the times specified on your tickets.

Set times will be posted on our social media accounts so make sure you're following us on Facebook & Instagram! If you can't find them then give us a call. The door times will be printed on your tickets.

For detailed information about accessibility, please see the dedicated page on our website, located here.

On request we can provide seating for accessibility purposes. Please get in touch with us in advance via info@saltboxbar.co.uk or give us a call on 0115 959 0831
